High Summer
This garden is slightly on the wild side!
In high summer, as the plants grow tall, the paths narrow and you have to brush past to get through.
It needs careful management as there are lots of invasive plants that self seed or have deep roots like green alkanet,
cleavers, dock, as well as some perennials that like to spread out; hence there is a fair bit of selective editing
to allow the other plants space to thrive.
The lawn can only be described as species rich - full of daisies, clover, achillea, and the charming little blue flowers of speedwell.
This garden attracts lots of birds and insects, resulting in few slugs and snails.
